You have to climb over 300 feet vertically each way. If you’re not a hiker, this may not be the trail for you; trekking poles recommended. Not an easy hike but rewarding for the kids. After the first big climb we were rewarded with a beautiful view of Lake Superior and a bench to rest our weary feet.
